May 22, 2012 – On March 19, Kiwi Nail Lounge opened its doors in Belmont Shore at 4612 E. 2nd St., Unit B. Located in a portion of the retail space previously occupied by Fingerprints Music, the full-service nail salon pampers the hands and feet of its clients by offering a range of pedicure and manicure services with more than 200 polish colors from OPI and Essie to choose from. According to owner Shannon Fouz, pictured, Kiwi Nail Lounge “prides itself on being as sanitary as possible,” she said. In addition to sterilizing its equipment with an autoclave and using single-use nail files and buffers, the lounge also utilizes pipe-free pedicure bowls to eliminate the buildup of infection-causing bacteria. Kiwi Nail Lounge is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, call 562/856-5494.
