FLO design studio Moves To Belmont Shore

Flo Design Long Beach

June 5, 2012 – On March 15, Megan and Jeff Tagliaferri (pictured) moved their business, FLO design studio, to the second floor of 5280 E. 2nd St. in Belmont Shore. The husband and wife duo relocated their boutique hospitality design firm to a workspace above La Bella, a 2nd Street clothing store popular for its high-end merchandise, after outgrowing their home office in University Park Estates. “It’s important for me to be in a creative space that represents my luxe, modern, spirited, natural California design style,” Megan Tagliaferri, the studio’s principal designer, said in a prepared statement. “Our space in La Bella is perfect for us because fashion, design and interior architecture are always weaving around each other. We were on 2nd Street everyday anyway; it’s where we hang out, work out, socialize and spend our time, so I knew it was exactly where we needed to be. We love the vibe!” Since its establishment in 2005, the studio has created designs for multiple restaurants, boutique hotels and spas, including Long Beach’s Surrender Salon, Pasadena’s Green Street Tavern and the El Cholo restaurants in Los Angeles and Santa Monica.
