July 31, 2012 – The Cancer Support Community Redondo Beach (CSC-RB) was honored recently by The Queensview Steakhouse at Parkers’ Lighthouse for its 25 years of providing “support, education and hope for cancer patients and their families.” Attending the event were boardmembers, donors, friends and volunteers, including CSC-RB founder, Dr. Tom Simko, and Anne Clary, founding group facilitator. “We recognize the hard work and dedication the organization sets forth,” said Parkers’ General Manager Michael Cole. “We have developed a good partnership with CSC-RB and this is our way of acknowledging their efforts.” Parkers’ is located at Shoreline Village in Downtown Long Beach.
