August 28, 2012 – Natalie McPherson, pictured at left, a skater with Long Beach Roller Derby, opened her own shop on June 15. Long Beach Roller Skate, located at 2221 Palo Verde Ave., Suite 2i, features roller skates, razor scooters, protection equipment, derby wear and skateboards. Free service is available for any store-bought item. The shop is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and by appointment only on Mondays.
