August 28, 2012 – The American Gold Star Manor on August 16 hosted a reception to honor the national officers of the American Gold Star Mothers (AGSM) organization. Headquartered in Washington D.C., AGSM has more than 2,000 members in chapters in all 50 states. The AGSM Long Beach chapter provides affordable senior housing for Gold Star Mothers, veterans and other qualified residents.
