September 11, 2012 – A children’s clothing store, Oh Very Young, opened at 4378 Atlantic Ave. in Bixby Knolls on July 6. Named after the Cat Stevens song, Oh Very Young offers clothes that are new or little worn. Items are for boys and girls from infant up to size 10. The shop also sells toys and some carriers, bouncers and other secondhand treasures. The store will officially begin buying from the public in September by appointment only. During First Fridays events in Bixby Knolls, the store hosts kids’ crafts, offers snacks and marks down certain items for sale.
