Natural Shop Zen Baby Opens Downtown

Zen Baby Long Beach

September 11, 2012 – Long Beach’s first natural baby and maternity store held its grand opening August 25 at 406 E. 3rd St. in Downtown Long Beach. The shop stocks baby gifts as well as necessities like cloth diapers, breastfeeding supplies, baby carriers and baby clothing. Natural baby and maternity products found at Zen Baby include Earth Mama, Angel Baby, Maya Wrap, Boba and FuzziBunz. The store also carries books on herbal remedies, pregnancy, childbirth, attachment and parenting. This family owned and operated company is led by the husband and wife team of Edward Yniguez and Kawani Brown. Yniguez, a graphic designer, leads Zen Baby’s original line of 100 percent organic onesies and shirts. Brown, who has a military background in meteorology, is a doula and natural birth advocate.
