September 25, 2012 – Earlier this summer, the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of Joyful Paws Pet Hotel & Daycare at 1701 Fashion Ave. on the city’s westside. The 12,000-square-foot facility features rubber flooring to help prevent injury during playtime, as well as a grass-like turf for the animals to relieve themselves, stainless steel pet washing stations and Wag Vision, an online live streaming video pet owners can tap into from anywhere for peace of mind. Joyful Paws also offers large, cage-free private luxury suites. Cats are welcome. Daycare and boarding drop off/pick up hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 562/435-PAWS (7297) or visit http://www.joyfulpawshotel.com.
