Willmore Wine Bar Opens In Bixby Knolls

October 9, 2012 – Ernie Henson, co-owner of the Willmore Wine Bar, prepares to serve a glass of wine at his new business in the heart of Bixby Knolls, 3848 Atlantic Ave. Henson opened the wine bar with his wife, Christine Tasche, on August 3. The name of the bar comes from the original name of the township, “Willmore City,” before it was renamed Long Beach. Willmore Wine Bar has weekly wine tastings, as well as pairing platters and a selection of beers served from the custom-made wood bar. Before opening the business, Henson spent the past nine years as the wine director at Virginia Country Club. Willmore Wine Bar hours are noon to 9 p.m. daily.
