October 23, 2012 – Adrian Teal opened Esquire Grooming & Barber Shop on October 6 at 4240 Atlantic Ave. in Bixby Knolls. The shop offers buzz cuts, haircuts, shampooing, head shaves, face shaves, kids cuts and beard trims. Products featured at Esquire include Paul Mitchell “Mitch” and “Tea Tree,” and American Crew. “The emphasis is that we are a community barber shop,” Teal said. “We want to bring back the social aspect of a barbershop where people come in and have a chat with us. We’re going to be heavily involved in BIA (business improvement association), First Friday events and aligning ourselves with local community events.” The shop is open 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
