Taking care of local businesses
BizCare is a program that was started during the COVID-19 pandemic to help connect small businesses with resources such as grants, technical assistance, and up-to-date information.
It has since expanded to include pop-ups, grant assistance and outreach to build trust, provide information about programs and offer hands-on assistance to help business owners apply for assistance.

Getting to work
The Long Beach Workforce Innovation Network (LBWIN) is a public agency serving Long Beach and Signal Hill. We connect adults, youth, and businesses to opportunities—job seekers to employment and businesses to skilled workers.
Our career center, the WorkPlace, is an entry point to public workforce development services for job seekers, and employers. Adult job seekers can sign up for an appointment or an in-person orientation here, or join us virtually every Wednesday at 3 p.m. here.
The WorkPlace provides a variety of no-cost services to job seekers and employers. Career Center Staff assist and support individuals seeking jobs and career paths. We also host job fairs, on-site recruitment, and targeted outreach activities for job seekers and employers.
We are committed to providing priority of service to Veterans. Visit our Veteran Services page to learn more about our Veteran Services and access Veteran resources.
