Boeing Forecast Raises Concern Over Potential Pilot Shortage

Boeing projects 790,000 pilots will be needed over the next 20 years – double the current workforce. Keith Cooper, Boeing Global Services’ vice president of training and professional services, stated that the projection raises concerns about a global pilot shortage occurring in the near-term. He added that Boeing offers programs with flight schools around the world to help train new pilots.
