On Tuesday, June 5, 2018, Long Beach voters from Council Districts 5 and 7, and LBUSD 3 will have the opportunity to cast their vote on two ballots. One ballot is for the Long Beach General Municipal Election (runoff) and the other is for the Statewide Direct Primary Election. It is important that all voters create a game plan before Election Day.

  1. Fill in your Official Sample Ballot ahead of time. Lost it? Download your copy at .

  2. Won’t be in town on Election Day? You can cast your ballot this weekend June 2nd and June 3rd from 8am – 4pm. Early Voting is available at Long Beach City College, 4901 E. Carson St. (LAC Room T1300).

  3. If you missed the registration deadline the Los Angeles Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk will offer Conditional Voter Registration at the Early Voting location at LBCC.

  4. Election Day polls open at 7am and close at 8pm. Make sure you visit your correct polling place by visiting .

  5. Plan ahead with your employer. California state law provides you with up to 2 hours to cast your ballot on Election Day.

And remember – It is now legal to take a “ballot selfie” (just remember to respect the rights and privacy of other voters). If you have any questions on Election Day please call (800) 815-2666.

Sincerely,

Monique De La Garza
