Building a Better Long Beach is coming back to the Beverly O’Neill Theater.

The annual presentation, hosted in part by the Long Beach Business Journal, will return live at 11 a.m. June 28.

The Business Journal did not host an event in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and last year’s edition was held virtually.

As always, Mayor Robert Garcia will highlight development projects across the city that have recently been completed, that are currently underway and that will soon break ground.

“I can’t wait to share what our city has been up to,” Garcia said, “from our major housing and retail developments to our airport, port and Space Beach projects — we have a lot to cover.”
